An update on my life

Anger... hateful, hateful anger.

Maybe I should've listened. Or maybe it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
That's the problem with hormones, no matter how hard you try, your life just gets screwed up anyways.

It was all over an argument? I don't know. Maybe I had it coming to me. I'll find out later in life, maybe while I'm dying of a bullet or a grenade wound.

I'm staring at my contacts list. They're both online and quite active. I have no doubt they are talking with each other, over that vile abomination called Instant Messaging. Who knows? Maybe it'll all go to Hell. Or maybe I will. Like I said, we'll find out later.

I don't want to write any more, but I still need to finish my college essay. Lovely.

Gresham Law Enforcement Cadets Program

This, and the next year I have the opportunity and the privilege to try out for the Gresham City Police Cadet Program! I'm so stoked, or excited as another term, about it!! While my dad and I were sitting in the Gresham Council Chambers listening to the mini-seminar about how awesome the program was I was literally on the edge of my seat! In fact, I was so ecstatic, my legs were bouncing. That was bad though, 'cause it made me look like I was impatient and bored... Rats! Well, I suppose my wide eyes gave me something.

I am looking forward completely to what awaits me if I am accepted! There were many other kids there, so I've got my competition. If I just write out my application absolutely and perfectly correct, I'll be invited to an oral interview, where who knows what will happen? That part is a bit intimidating. But I still cannot convey my excitement!...

Wheee-oo! Good morning world! It's a nice day here again. (Can you believe the weather? It went from pouring down rain to bright n' sunny within two days.)
Buuut anyway. Let's talk 'bout Airsoft! Muahahaaa! Me likee!
I have been doing a bit more AirSoft than usual (That's a good thing by the way... ) and I've been noticing a few things about my style:
I get really into the game and serious, and suddenly something will happen or I will just totally do something wrong. Plus I don't run well, I start breathing heavily and my heart starts to just pound like crazy. I always want to see myself as the "SpecOps, silent-deadly, invisible Marine-Force-Recon grunt" but I never reach that point. Explaining the last sentence: A funny thing about me is I have different characterizations that come out when I am in certain situations. When I feel threatened or vulnerable I tend to... almost recede inward. When I feel I have an advantage or witty I go into what I call "SpecOps Mode". That's when I start sneakin' around and stuff. A vein off of "SpecOps Mode" is where I tend to act... funny in a weird way, not "ha-ha".
Don't get me wrong, none of this is from 'parental neglect' or stuff like that; this is all done by conditioning upon myself. If anything my parents have been nothing but love and caring. Thank's ya'll!

But anyway, when I go SpecOps Mode something rips me out of it. And it drives me crazy. At the end of SpecOps mode I have the James Bond mode where I feel invulnerable and full of quips and interesting retorts. Shocking.

Anyway before I spill my heart out (Hey I gettin' into SpecOps Mode now! Yay! Oh wait. I'm out. DARN!)

Goood evening people this is - badaba bah bah!-... Chris!! (sorry, I didn't have a trumpet there, so I made my own... ahem!)

Right now I am hard at 'work' playing one of the greatest internet games ever. C'mon, let's here it! You all know... Wait what?? Wait... You've never heard of-? NO....

I am playing Star Wars Combines Wait! Don't run away from your radios in terror yet, I'm not finished! It is an RPG (Role Playing Game) like the ones we have here, but infinitly better.

The entire universe of Star Wars is in it, literally. You can fly around your ship, control factions (Galactic Empire or -my personal favourite- the Avance Coalition). You can't really fight though, as combat is still under construction.

Righto! I love playing it, ya know? Now remember though, it is not X-Wing alliance or Battlefield. This game you create your character, give him a name, bio whatever and then spawn him on your home planet (Decided by what species you select).

Anyways I think it's the most awesomest thing in the world!

This RPG is about a super-secret-agent named Anthony Goode.

He is only a teenager, recruited into the British Secret Service (Or better known as MI6).
His current mission is to stop terrorists from releasing nerve gas into downtown New York.

The story begins with our hero rappeling onto the second story balcony of a meat-packing plant in California. Terrorists baddies are inside, planning their evil mission...

Alright choose who will be who (Heroes and Villians!) Create characters for the Terrorists and introduce your own characters! (Of their own allegiance or with one of the two already)

The following is what you should and shouldn't do in an RP post in layman form:

Use bold type when your character speaks. "Like this!" When your character speaks do not use qoutes "Like this!" But use bold and italics. Like this! Do not God-Mode. God-Moding is controling other characters actions or events not controllable by you. Play fair and with common sense. If you don't, then your comments will never be approved forever!!! MwahahaaaaaStay with the story and never spam please. The below is a post from an RP forum (ignore the Star Wars references and other unknown stuff ;-) 1 :: Things to remember before you post 1.1 Format and how to use the funny looking symbols on your keyboard Quote from: White Scenario Rules All posts should be formatted as if you were writing a fiction novel. Other, script-like or hard to read, posting formats will be penalised in your final XP total. Keep your posts left aligned. There may be a few exceptions, like perhaps a sign. Then you can center. But in general stay on the left. And you can start arguing about right-alignment only when you've shown me a novel with all the words on the right side, excluding right-to-left writing. Same thing with colors, stay with the standard, default color (often black). Others are permitted, but don't be excessive.Capitalize the first letter of a sentence, and names. Follow all statements with a period (.), follow all questions with a question mark (?) and if you feel like shouting, try this: !When someone says something, put the text in between quotations (") so we know that he is saying it. 1.2 Bolds and italics Use bolds for speech. To be honest, I can't tell the difference, except that it is somewhat easier to read if names are used instead of "I" all the time, especially when there are many people participating. Just stick with third-person. It's not difficult. In fact, I don't think it would change anything if you wrote in first person, then went through it and changed the I's to he/she, and fix the verbs accordingly. :\ 1.5 Verb tenses Past tense is preferred. I'm pretty sure that it is ok to use different verb tenses, but it must be consistant. However, if you mix them up incorrectly, you will be marked off for it. I've probably mixed a bunch of them in this guide :\ It's difficult, especially when you write at different times. The best way to prevent it, is to read it through afterwards. You'll usually twist your head when you feel something is wrong. 1.6 Use words No lol omg wtf lmao's and everything else in the family. Period. (Insert one of those SWC "spell out your words" banners here) Yes, you may be used to it from IMing or wherever, but when you write, plz dun type lik this. It's usually one or two extra characters, it won't kill you and it's much more friendly to the readers. Also, do you see there's not only a "post" button but 2 others as well? You don't always have to preview, but the spell check is amazingly effective. Use it (not the suggested words though). I'm amazed at how people who alwys seams 2 ttpe lykee dis always spell like that. I understand for some people, English is not their strongest language, but spell check should help. We'll get it usually. :: Things to remember while you write 2.1 -MY- Golden Rule for Role Playing Some may argue, some may agree, but this is my pinciple when I write my posts: Other people read what you write. You may be scratching your heads trying to figure out what that means......or you most likely just bypassed it and went on. I'm saying that when you role play on a message board based game, the most important thing is that everyone else can read, understand, and enjoy what you wrote. No matter how much or little you write, no matter how well or bad you write, if the others who read don't understand what you are trying to say, it is worthless. Section 2 will include things like making people want to read your post, and how to make your post easier to read. But before that... 2.2 its != it's Thank you. Moving on... 2.3 The magic of spacing Spacing is very important when writing long stories. Especially when there are lots of sentences. Why? Because there will be lots of punctuation.That often means lots of periods.Unfortunately periods are tiny,especially on the computer.It is not as difficult when you write,but for typing,it can be hard. Notice anything different about the above paragraph? I actually typed it after all of this was done, heh. It has no spaces after punctuation. You'll probably notice that it is more difficult to notice the beginnings and ends of sentences than when you add a space. ALWAYS follow your punctuation with 1 or 2 spaces. Remember how I said earlier "making people want to read your post". When you see a long post that you wrote, you see hard work. When others see a long post with no spaces, they see a blob, and I mean it. When you see someone else's post with no spaces, you'll see a blob too. Blobs aren't friendly to readers. So always un-blob, before you post, if you have a habit of not using spaces. In fact, a better way to un-blob is what I'm doing right now: using a new paragraph. When you go to a different topic, person, location, anything, use a new paragraph. People will be annoyed by blobs, but they'll never be annoyed by new lines. When a different person talks, use a new paragraph. I often do it for every thought as well, but that's preference. 2.4 IC (in character) vs. OOC (out of character) Part 2 When you RP, you ARE a different person living in a simulated Star Wars galaxy. Your character doesn't sit in front of a computer writing about a fictional character (unless his occupation is a writer) nor does he have paper to write notes on. He's most likely holding a blaster or fixing a ship. And he most likely uses a datapad instead of asking around for a pencil to write with. It's Star Wars, there has to be a lot of things out there. Be original when you are IC. There's a lot more than the movies. There's a lot more than any movie. Don't use a DL-44 only because Han had it, some of the others look just as cool. And if you haven't read some of the EU novels or even some comics, I recommend it. Er, not the comics. The novels. 2.5 No God Mode/Moding/Modeing/whatever Probably one of the most important rules in RP. It actually refers to 2 things: 1) Your character cannot do what it should not be able to do.ex: Avoid 150 bullets flying past you at once from all directions, jump up into the air 10 meters high, hold 4 guns, 2 in each hand, then shoot all 50 soldiers surrounding you and land safely. (This doesn't mean that all of this makes it god mode, none of them are realistic.) 2) You cannot control anything or anyone except things you own, NPCs that you are allowed to control, and anything else where you specifically have permission to control. This also includes IMPLYING that someone did an action (or response). ex: Wan swung the bat and hit the ewok with his stick, creating a large crack! <--- God mode because I controlled the ewok by stating that he was hit by the stick. No matter how obvious it is, and how inevitable an event may be, you cannot decide anything that happens to someone other than you. ex: You see Wan beg for help. <--- God mode because I cannot determine what you see and don't see, even if I am standing in front of you. It's weird and sometimes difficult, but just remember to only do things for your own character. Also note that you get a major penalty in a WS. Better safe than sorry. Don't do anything that goes near either of these. 2.6 Think about the posts before yours You cannot do anything if you don't know what's going on. Always read all previous posts, and if someone is talking to you, try to include their last speech in your own so it blends in. Make sure you italicize their text so that we know. Be sure to set the scene from the beginning. Your first two lines should easily let any reader understand your current position and situation. A paragraph if it is your first post. 2.7 Have fun Most of all, enjoy it. You should be doing this for your own entertainment. Take your time, think about what you want your character to do, then write about it for all to read. 3 :: Things to remember to make your next post better Here are some of my personal tips to make your post better to read. You'll probably see something similar elsewhere, but these are my fast-and-simple steps. 3.1 Details Most definitely one of the EASIEST things you can do to improve your writing ability. Read these: Wan entered. Wan entered through the door. Wan entered through the door hurriedly. Wan entered through the door hurriedly, gasping for air as he sat down to get some rest. Get the point? Look at the difference between examples #1 and #3. Only a mere 4 words made that line more interesting, and now we can see exactly how he was acting. Adjectives are your friend here. "Describing words" as a first grade teacher would call them, they exist for a reason; don't be afraid to use them. If you really have a difficult time doing this, try the 5 W's: Who is doing the action? What is he doing? When is he doing the action? Where is he doing the action? Why is he doing the action? Implementing those 5 things as you type will improve your posts drasticly, trust me. It is not difficult, you just have to think about details. The next will talk about a different way of giving details. 3.2 References Especially in a science fiction world like Star Wars, making a reference to something that we know is always good (Tip: good is not a good word to use in your posts, I just can't think of something else right now). It can also be used whenever you are trying to describe something. Wan looked at the blue planet. Wan looked at the blue planet that sparkled like a sapphire in the midst of space. Ok, that wasn't a very good example, but I hope you get the point. Actually, let's try something else: Wan ate a lot of food on the table very quickly. Wan was a hungry bear as he chomped through the food on the table. My face might look like a bear, but that is obviously not what is meant by that line. Using a "hungry bear" as a reference better describes how I ate the food than "very quickly

Helloooo world! It is a beeautiful day where I am now and I only wish... I had a pool... :sniffle:.
Anyway, How many of you like the sun? I love the sun! When it shines brightly through our atmosphere? Not many think of it but... that thing is a hundred times bigger than our planet. That is really big. Short sentences. Cool. But my point is: isn't it awesome how something so big and powerful has to be made by someone infinetly more powerful than that big ball of exploding gases?

Well that's enough tenderness. Anyway, new point: I love AirSoft. Can't get enough of it. I wish I could fight in an AirSoft war every weekend, then I could really find out what I am good at. I usually just go as the grunt fighting along the front lines, and I'm OK with that.

Hello world! This your your very own Chris (my last name will remain classified ;) ). Welcome to 'Charlie Leopard Zulu'! Or better know as 'CLZ' or 'Chris' Landing Zone'. I hope to keep this LZ clean and retain good grammar; So don't even post if you can't type write! (whoops! :\ )

Anyway, if you see the 'Radio ' blah blah then you will from now on know it is my opinion, to you. Isn't that lovable! Awwww!

And also if you haven't already found out the posts with this title are supposed to be thought of as an actual radio. Like Radio Vietnam off of Battlefield Vietnam! Mwahha!
